Who I Am
Hi! I’m Frini — my full name is Efrosyni, but I’ve gone by Frini my whole life. I was born in Volos, a beautiful coastal city in central Greece. When I was three, my parents moved us to Krefeld, Germany, where I spent most of my childhood and teenage years.
I’m an open and extroverted person who loves exploring new things, traveling, meeting new people, and learning about cultures, languages, and how the world works. Family is incredibly important to me, and I strongly believe in kindness and compassion as guiding principles in life.
Growing up in a Greek household while living in Germany meant I was always surrounded by different cultures, while staying deeply connected to my roots. Today, my world is even more multicultural. My husband is Portuguese, and together we’re raising our 10-month-old son in a home where cultures, languages, and traditions naturally blend.
In my free time, I love traveling, cooking, dancing, being creative, singing, and practicing yoga.
My Story
I always imagined that one day I would move abroad and start my adult life in a new city. That dream became reality when, at 19, I moved to Eindhoven to start my studies.
My path wasn’t always linear. After moving to Eindhoven, I switched universities and began my bachelor’s in International Business and Languages. Along the way, I faced personal challenges that required me to pause my studies and take a step back. That break, however, became a turning point.
I spent a semester abroad in Milan, Italy, and later moved to Barcelona, where I lived for a year. Barcelona quickly became a place very close to my heart — a city I would move back to in a heartbeat if life allowed it. That time abroad helped me grow immensely, both personally and professionally.
After returning, I focused on getting my life back on track: working, restarting my degree, and building stability again. In July 2024, my life changed in the most beautiful way when I found out I was pregnant. Shortly after, my then-boyfriend of five years and fiancé of one year became my husband in October 2024. In April 2025, we welcomed our son into the world.
All of these experiences — the changes, challenges, travels, and milestones — have shaped me into who I am today. I’m driven, curious, and always eager for new experiences and opportunities to learn, grow, and evolve.
My Experience
I am currently finishing my degree in International Business at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Den Bosch. Alongside my studies, I’ve gained experience in different roles and environments, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and adaptability.
I’ve worked as a Sales and Marketing Intern in Eindhoven, an Account Manager in Barcelona, and a Customer Service Representative at Lampenlicht back in Eindhoven. Each role taught me something new — from understanding customer needs to working in international and fast-paced environments.
I’m now starting a new chapter at Jouwweb, where I’m working as a Customer Support Agent while also completing an internship. This role brings together many things I enjoy: helping people, problem-solving, communication, and continuous learning.
